There is more emphasis on cross-sectional imaging, as candidates are increasingly encountering these sophisticated imaging tests in postgraduate exams. Images have been updated, and all the clinical information has been reviewed and revised accordingly.<\/p>\n

    This book is very clearly set out with a useful initial section of interpretation, rules, and tools with each of the 100 or so cases. There are clear answers and a useful list of radiology points and clinical relevant facts to the condition demonstrated the book will be a useful aid to doctors training for their examinations and, indeed, could be a useful text for CPD for Consultants.

    For the registrar about to be examined in radiology, I recommend the book as a pre-examination tutorial containing both common and important examination material.<\/p>\n

    A quick refresher of the classic images of important neonatal and paediatric conditions. The images used are good quality and cover the most important areas of paediatric imaging. It is easy and enjoyable to read and covers a broad range of diseases as well as a few rarer cases. The ‘clinical hot list’ with every case will be helpful in the months prior to the examination.<\/p>\n
