‘Each question’s answers comes with ‘peer answers’ which I liked; this gave a sense of how difficult the question should be. Overall it helped me learn more about the basic neuroscience behind psychopharmacology. Each page references up-to date sources including textbooks (mostly Stahl’s Essential Psychopharmacology) and journal articles. It refers to current research trends and to up-to date clinical problems such as novel psychoactive substances. The writing style is very good, and the chapter layout works well. I like the size and format. The layout means that the questions are on a right hand page and the answers over the page.’ British Medical Association Programme and Award Winners 2017
